Black Mesh Student Chair with Foldable Desk, Lumbar Support, Tablet Arm, and Cup Holder

I’ve finally found the perfect solution for my cramped apartment study space! This black mesh chair with a foldable desk has honestly been a total game-changer for me. I’d been struggling with my makeshift setup (literally was using my kitchen counter ‍♀️) until I came across this little gem.
So the chair itself is pretty comfortable – not like luxury office chair comfortable, but definitely good enough for a few hours of study time. The mesh back is a lifesaver during those marathon study sessions when you tend to get all sweaty and gross. To be fair, I was a bit skeptical about the lumbar support at first (I’ve been burned before!), but it’s actually decent and helps with my posture, which I’m trying to work on these days.
The built-in desk is what really sold me though. It’s not huge – about 15″ x 12″ – but fits my laptop just fine, and I can fold it away when I’m just chilling or need the space for something else. I was kind of worried about stability, but it’s surprisingly sturdy! The tablet arm is a nice touch too, though I typically just prop my phone against my coffee mug.
Speaking of which, the cup holder is handier than I expected. I’m that person who always manages to knock over drinks (RIP my old laptop), so having a designated spot for my coffee is pretty clutch. It fits my standard travel mug no problem.
The whole thing weighs about 17.6 pounds, so I can easily move it around when I need to – way easier than lugging a desk and separate chair around! It’s definitely sturdier than it looks too, with the metal frame supporting up to 250 pounds. My roommate who’s a bit bigger than me tried it and said it felt totally secure.
Assembly wasn’t bad at all – took me maybe 20 minutes while I was half-watching Netflix. Everything came in the box, and the instructions were straightforward enough even for someone as assembly-challenged as me.
One thing to note – there are some tiny imperfections here and there (like small scratches on the metal), but honestly, it’s not noticeable unless you’re really looking for them. I guess that’s what they mean by “handmade character” or whatever.
Overall, for a small apartment or dorm room, this chair is pretty fantastic. It’s not going to replace a proper office setup if you’re working from home full-time, but for studying or part-time work, it’s been perfect for my needs and definitely more comfortable than my old dining chair!
