BEABA Adjustable High Chair, 6-36 Months, Gray, with Removable Tray, Footrest, and Cushion

So I finally bit the bullet and got this BEABA high chair in gray for my little one who just turned 8 months. Honestly? It’s been a game changer for our mealtimes! I was getting pretty tired of holding him while trying to eat my own food (cold dinners, anyone?).
What I really love about this chair is how it grows with your kiddo – it works from 6 months all the way to 3 years, which is pretty good value if you ask me. The gray color is super neutral and actually looks kind of nice in our dining area, unlike some of those garish plastic monstrosities I was looking at before.
The safety features are top-notch. There’s this 5-point harness that keeps my wiggle worm secure, which gives me peace of mind because my little guy is seriously a future escape artist! I’ve tried all three height positions and they’re really helpful depending on whether we’re at the table or kitchen island. The recline feature is also pretty handy for when he gets tired but we’re still finishing dinner.
One thing that’s been a lifesaver is the removable tray. It’s dishwasher safe (thank goodness!) because let me tell you, my son turns every meal into an art project. The tray adjusts to different depths too, which is nice as he gets bigger. The cushion is comfier than I expected – definitely better than my sister’s high chair that looks like it’s made of plastic cardboard, I swear.
To be fair, it’s not the lightest high chair out there at around 11 pounds, but it’s still easy enough for me to move around the house. The footprint is about 23 by 23 inches, which fits our space just fine. I was worried it might be too bulky, but it actually folds up pretty compact when we have guests over and need the extra space.
The water-repellent fabric on the cushion is a huge plus – I just wipe it down after meals most of the time, though I have taken it off for a proper wash once when he managed to get pureed carrots EVERYWHERE.
Not gonna lie, I kind of wish I’d gotten this sooner. It’s been great for not just feeding times but also when I need a safe spot for him while I’m cooking or when grandma comes over and wants to interact with him at her level.
If you’re on the fence about this one, I’d say it’s worth it just for the adjustability factor alone. Your back (and cold dinners) will thank you!
