Aloudy Ergonomic Memory Foam Armrest Pads for Office and Gaming Chairs, Stretch Fit, Black (Set of 2)

I finally got around to upgrading my office chair with these Aloudy armrest pads, and honestly, I wish I’d done it sooner! I was getting these weird elbow pains after long work days, and my chair’s original armrests were basically just hard plastic with barely any padding left.
First thing – definitely measure your armrests before ordering! I almost messed up here. These pads are 9.5″ x 4.5″ x 1.5″ and fit armrests between 6-10.5 inches long and up to 5 inches wide. My chair was right in that sweet spot. They do have a bigger 11″ version for longer armrests (10.5-12.5 inches) on their page if you need it. Kind of a relief they were upfront about this because nothing’s worse than waiting for something to arrive only to find it doesn’t fit.
The memory foam in these is pretty impressive – not too soft where you just sink through, but definitely not firm enough to cause pressure points. It’s that nice middle ground where it actually contours to your arm position. I’ve been working from home a lot lately, and these have made my 8-hour Zoom marathons way more bearable. The high-density foam really does make a difference compared to the cheap foam pads I tried before.
Installation couldn’t be easier – you just stretch them over your existing armrests. Took me like 30 seconds total, no joke. They stay put surprisingly well too. I was worried they’d slide around or bunch up, but they’ve been really stable. The fabric is this velvet polyester that feels pretty nice against your skin – definitely better than my old plastic armrests that would get all sticky and gross during summer.
To be fair, if you’re not into velvet texture, you might want to look elsewhere. I personally don’t mind it, but my husband says it feels a bit odd to him. The black color looks professional enough for my home office setup though, matches everything.
One thing I wasn’t expecting but really appreciate – these have zippers! You can take the covers off and throw them in the wash when they get dirty. My old chair had these permanent armrest covers that got so grimy over time, it was embarrassing when clients came over. Being able to just wash these is a huge plus.
For what they cost, these have been a total game-changer for my work-from-home setup. My elbows and forearms don’t get that weird numbness anymore after coding all day. They’re thicker than I expected at 1.5 inches, which turned out to be perfect for giving enough cushion without raising my arms to an awkward height.

If yours are longer (like 10.5-12.5 inches), you’ll need their large size. The velvet polyester has this nice look to it – makes my budget chair look way more expensive than it is!
The best part is how easy they were to put on. No tools, no screws, nothing complicated – you just stretch them over your existing armrests and you’re done. They fit really snugly and haven’t slid around at all during my aggressive typing sessions (I’m not the gentlest typist, lol).
These work on basically any standard office or gaming chair that has armrests up to 5 inches wide. I put them on my partner’s gaming chair too, and they fit perfectly even though our chairs are completely different styles. You get two in each pack (duh, one for each arm), so if you need to outfit multiple chairs, just order more sets.
The washable cover is a lifesaver – my previous chair looked disgusting after a few months of coffee spills and snack residue. Now I can just unzip the cover and toss it in the wash. They’ve held up really well for about 4 months now with no signs of flattening out or losing their shape.
