I’ve honestly never been as excited about a sofa as I am with this JINGLING 80″ Cloud Loveseat. Like, I know that sounds dramatic, but hear me out!
So when this white modular loveseat arrived at my place, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I mean, they call it a “cloud” loveseat, which seemed like a pretty bold claim. But you guys… they weren’t kidding! The filling is this perfect combo of sponge, down, and something called doll cotton (whatever that is) that actually does feel like sitting on a fluffy cloud. My body just kind of sinks into it in the best way possible.
The look of it is pretty sleek too. Nothing too fancy or over-the-top – just this clean, modern rectangular design that works with basically everything in my apartment. It’s kind of become the centerpiece of my living room without even trying, if that makes sense?
One thing that sold me from the beginning was the washable covers. Let’s be real – I have friends who spill things, and my cat thinks everything I own is his personal scratching post. The chenille fabric is surprisingly durable (my cat is legit annoyed by this), and being able to just zip off the covers and throw them in the washing machine is a game-changer. My previous sofa was this nightmare to clean, so this is honestly such a relief.
The assembly was WAY easier than I expected. I’m usually terrible with putting furniture together (my last IKEA attempt was… let’s not talk about it), but this required zero tools. You just follow some simple instructions, and boom – you’ve got a sofa. Took me maybe 20 minutes? The cushions come vacuum-sealed though, so don’t freak out when they look flat at first. Mine took close to the full 72 hours to properly fluff up, but it was totally worth the wait.
To be fair, I was a bit worried about durability because it looks so soft, but the pine wood frame is actually really sturdy. My brother and I (combined we’re probably around 380 lbs) sat on it together while watching the game last weekend, and it held up great – nowhere near its 700 lb weight limit.
The depth of the seat (24.4″) is kind of perfect for me – deep enough to curl up with a book but not so deep that my feet dangle when I’m sitting normally. And the height (18.9″) works well with my coffee table. The little 2-inch plastic legs aren’t anything special, but they keep the sofa at a nice height without making it look bulky.
I’ve had mine set up in my living room for movie nights, but honestly, I’ve fallen asleep on it more times than I care to admit. It’s that comfortable! The two pillows that came with it are a nice touch too – they match perfectly and give some extra support when I’m binging shows.
Size-wise, at 80″L x 40″W x 25.2″H, it’s bigger than my old loveseat but not overwhelmingly huge for my apartment. It comfortably seats two people, or three if you’re all really good friends, lol.
The white color brightens up my space so much more than my old dark gray sofa. I was nervous about keeping it clean, but the removable/washable covers have made it much less stressful than I thought it would be.
I’m actually thinking about getting another module from JINGLING down the road to expand it when I move to a bigger place. The fact that it’s modular and I can reconfigure it or add to it later is pretty cool.
