Okay, so I’ve gotta tell you about this XMARK Knee Raise & Dip Stand thing I just got for my home gym. It’s pretty sweet, honestly. I mean, I was kinda skeptical at first, but it’s turned out to be a real game-changer for my workouts.
So, this bad boy is like three machines in one – you’ve got your knee raise station for abs, a dip station for arms and chest, and even a push-up station. It’s way more versatile than I expected. I’ve been using it to work on my core (which, let’s face it, needed some help after all those quarantine snacks), and it’s actually making a difference.
The dip handles are spaced just right – about 22 inches apart. It feels way more comfortable than the janky setup I had before. And the push-up handles? They’re covered in this grippy rubber stuff that’s a lifesaver when your hands get all sweaty.
Now, I’m not exactly a lightweight guy, so I was worried about stability. But this thing is built like a tank! It’s made of this heavy-duty steel that can supposedly hold up to 350 pounds. I haven’t tested that limit (thank goodness), but it feels rock-solid when I’m using it.
The cushions on the back and arms are pretty comfy too. They’re vinyl with these red stitches that look kinda cool. The backrest is about 16 inches wide and 10 inches tall, which works well for me. And get this – the arm pads are a whole 18 inches long. Plenty of room for my not-so-dainty arms!
One thing I really appreciate is the rubber feet on the bottom. My wife would kill me if I scratched up our new flooring, so that was a nice touch. And the whole thing isn’t as huge as I thought it’d be – about 52 inches long, 24 inches wide, and 83 inches tall. It fits in our spare room without taking over the whole space.
To be fair, it’s not exactly light at 85 pounds, but I can still move it around if I need to. It’s definitely sturdier than that wobbly pull-up bar I used to have hanging in the doorway!
I’ve been using it for all sorts of exercises – knee raises, dips, push-ups, you name it. It’s kind of amazing how many different workouts you can do with just this one piece of equipment. I’m not gonna claim I’m suddenly ripped or anything, but I can definitely feel myself getting stronger.
All in all, if you’re looking to up your home workout game, this XMARK stand is worth checking out. It’s not perfect (what is?), but it’s pretty darn good for the price. Just be prepared for your muscles to hate you for the first week or so!
