So I finally got my hands on this white rocking chair last week, and honestly? I’m pretty impressed with it. It’s got this modern wing back design that kind of reminds me of something you’d see in one of those fancy home decor magazines, but without the ridiculous price tag.
The chair is made with this polyurethane material that feels way nicer than I expected. At first I was worried it might look cheap, but it’s actually pretty convincing! The plastic frame underneath is sturdy enough – I was a bit skeptical when I saw that part in the description, but it holds up just fine. The foam seat is comfortable enough for those nights when I’m binge-watching my shows for hours (no judgment please!).

Size-wise, it’s about 32.5 inches deep, 34.6 inches wide, and stands around 35.8 inches tall. Fits perfectly in the corner of my living room without taking over the whole space. I was surprised that it only weighs like 22 pounds – makes it super easy to move around when I’m rearranging (which happens way too often, if I’m being honest).
The 7.4-inch backrest is tall enough to rest my head when I lean back, which is a must for me. Oh, and it can handle up to 300 pounds, so my husband feels comfortable using it too.

The white color brightens up my room compared to my old dark brown armchair that was just dragging the whole vibe down. To be fair, I was worried about keeping it clean (especially with my kids running around), but it’s actually not bad at all to wipe down.
Assembly wasn’t a big deal – took me maybe 20 minutes tops. I’m terrible with instructions normally, but this was pretty straightforward.
The rounded arms are definitely more comfortable than those square boxy ones on my sister’s rocking chair. The gentle rocking motion is relaxing after a long day – I’ve caught myself dozing off in it a couple times already!
It’s a bit firmer than I initially wanted, but it’s breaking in nicely after a few weeks of use. Works great in my nursery too when I need to rock the baby to sleep, though I originally bought it for the living room.
