It’s versatile that way—I could honestly see using it as a floor mat in the winter too. The material is holding up way better than expected. Duke’s nails are like little daggers, and somehow this cover is tough enough to handle it. I’ve washed it twice already (muddy paws, don’t ask), and it came out looking pretty much the same. I let it air dry though—learned that lesson with my last pet bed that shrunk to chihuahua-size in the dryer!
It comes in different sizes—I got the middle one (70×180 cm) for my three-seater. Just make sure you measure your couch first! I guessed on my first order and had to return it because it was too small. The weight is substantial, probably close to 2 kg, which helps it stay in place too.
For anyone keeping track, it’s machine washable (thank goodness), and the package is just the cover itself—super simple. I think what I like most is that it doesn’t scream “I HAVE A DOG WHO DESTROYS THINGS” but still does the job perfectly.
