Universal Black Replacement Cord Kit for Zero Gravity Chair

So I just got my hands on this Universal Black Replacement Cord Kit for my zero gravity chair, and honestly, it’s been a total game-changer! My old chair was practically useless after the cords gave out (why do they always snap at the worst time?), and I was dreading having to shell out for a completely new chair.
Let me tell you, this UNEEDE kit is pretty much exactly what I needed. The cords are actually long enough—which was a huge relief after trying another replacement kit last year that was way too short. You get a 98.4-inch long rope and a 65-inch short one, which fit my chair perfectly with some room to spare.
One thing I really appreciated was that the metal ends aren’t sharp like my old ones. I actually cut my finger on my previous chair’s cord ends while trying to fix it (not fun at all), but these have been smoothed out really well. Kind of makes me wonder why all manufacturers don’t do this in the first place?
Installation was surprisingly easy. I’m not exactly a DIY expert or anything, but I managed to get everything set up in about 15 minutes without any help. The molded metal ends just slide right where they need to go, and the instructions were clear enough that I didn’t have to look up a YouTube tutorial (which is saying something for me!).
The material feels pretty solid too—it’s this latex and nylon blend that has a nice stretch to it but doesn’t feel like it’s going to give out anytime soon. To be fair, I’ve only had it for a couple weeks, but it feels way more durable than the original cords that came with my chair.
What I love most is that this kit worked with my chair even though it’s not one of the major brands. I have this random zero gravity chair I picked up at a warehouse store a few years back, and I was worried about compatibility, but it fit perfectly! According to the packaging, it works with chairs from Faulkner, Lafuma, and a bunch of others too.
Price-wise, it’s a no-brainer compared to buying a whole new chair. My zero gravity chair was like $80, and this kit was a fraction of that. Plus, it feels kind of good not throwing a perfectly good chair in the landfill just because of some broken cords, you know?
