Svan Signet Essential High Chair with Harness, Whitewash

I just got the Svan Signet Essential High Chair in Whitewash for my little one, and honestly, I’m kind of impressed with it!



So we needed a high chair for our baby (who’s growing way too fast!), and I was torn between this and one of those plastic contraptions you see everywhere. I’m so glad we went with the Svan Signet! It’s actually made from real beechwood—pretty sustainable too, which matters to me. The whitewash finish is super cute and matches our kitchen waaay better than I expected. To be fair, my partner wasn’t totally sold on the look at first, but now they love it.
This chair grows with your kid, which is a huge plus because, let’s face it, baby stuff gets expensive! It works from about 6 months all the way to 5 years, so we’ll definitely get our money’s worth. The 5-point harness makes me feel tons better about safety—my little guy is a wiggler! You can adjust both the seat and footrest as they grow, which is nice because my nephew’s high chair doesn’t do that and he looks so uncomfortable at mealtime.
The tray comes off easily for cleaning (thank goodness!) and you can actually throw it in the dishwasher, which is a lifesaver after spaghetti night. It’s sturdier than I thought it would be—holds up to 50 pounds, which is pretty impressive.
Size-wise, it’s about 34.5 inches tall, 24 inches wide, and 22 inches deep. Not too bulky compared to my friend’s high chair, which practically takes over her whole dining area! It’s only about 15 pounds too, so I can move it around without throwing my back out, haha.
Oh, and the base is really stable. My sister’s kid nearly tipped over in their chair once, so that was definitely something I was worried about. This one doesn’t budge! And cleaning is pretty straightforward—no weird crevices where food gets stuck forever (unlike our car seat… don’t get me started).
I love that it transitions to a regular chair as they get older. Our last high chair was basically trash once my oldest outgrew it, but this one will stick around.
Would make a great baby shower gift, honestly. I wish someone had given us one for our first! Much better investment than the mountain of newborn clothes that only fit for like two weeks.
