I finally found the perfect bar stools for our kitchen island! I’ve been on the hunt for months, and honestly, these boho rattan ones are just what I was looking for.
The boho style is kind of amazing – they look like real rattan with this beautiful wicker back design. They’re definitely more unique than those generic metal stools everyone seems to have these days. I was going for that bohemian vibe in our kitchen remodel, and these totally deliver!
Comfort-wise, they’re pretty good. The faux leather cushion is way more comfortable than I expected for bar stools (definitely comfier than our old ones, which had no padding at all). I can actually sit through a whole family dinner without my back killing me, which is saying something! The ergonomic shape really does support your back nicely.
What I love is how versatile they are with different decor styles. We have sort of a farmhouse-meets-boho thing going on, and these fit right in. The contrast between the rattan and the leather is actually quite striking in person. To be fair, I wasn’t sure if the wood tone would match our kitchen, but it ended up being perfect!
Durability seems solid so far. The wooden frame feels sturdy (no wobbling!), and they’re holding up well even though my teenager practically throws himself onto them. We had friends over for dinner last weekend, and I’m not gonna lie, I was kind of proud when they all commented on how nice the stools looked.
At 29 inches, they’re the perfect counter height for our kitchen island. One thing I didn’t expect was how much more enjoyable our casual breakfasts are now that everyone has a comfortable place to sit. We can fit all 6 around our island, which is perfect for when the whole family is home.
