Set of 4 Yongqiang Black Metal Bar Stools with Wooden Seats, 30-Inch Industrial High Back Kitchen Island Barstools

I recently upgraded my kitchen with these Yongqiang bar stools, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! So, I grabbed this set of 4 black metal bar stools with wooden seats for my kitchen island, and they’re pretty much exactly what I was looking for.
They stand at 30 inches high, which fits perfectly with my counter height. I was actually worried about that because I measured wrong the last time I bought bar furniture (total nightmare). The weight capacity is no joke – they hold up to 330 pounds, which is way more than I need, but my brother-in-law is a big guy and I wanted him to feel comfortable when he visits.
The black powder-coated metal frame looks really nice against my kitchen cabinets, and it feels super sturdy. There’s this X-brace thing under the seat that I think helps with stability – they don’t wobble at all, which is a huge improvement over my old Ikea stools that felt like they might collapse any minute. The wooden seats are engineered wood, about 14ish inches across, and honestly, they’re comfier than I expected for something without cushions. They have this nice natural finish that kind of warms up the whole industrial vibe.
One thing I really appreciate is the rubber foot pads. My floors are hardwood that I just refinished last year, and I’m kind of paranoid about scratching them up. These don’t slide around or leave marks, which is a relief.
I’ve actually been using them both inside and on my covered patio when we have extra guests over for BBQs. Just don’t leave them out in the rain – I did that once and panicked a bit, but they dried out fine. The high backrest is definitely a plus for longer sitting sessions (like when my mom comes over and we end up chatting for hours). What’s kind of cool is that you can take the backrest off if you want and then they stack, which is pretty handy for storage.
They were pretty easy to put together too – took me maybe 10 minutes per stool while I was watching Netflix. All the parts were there, and the instructions weren’t the usual confusing mess.
For specs, if you’re into that sort of thing: seats are about 14.2 x 14.4 inches, the total height with the backrest is 42 inches, and each stool weighs around 15 pounds. Not too heavy to move around but substantial enough to feel quality, if that makes sense.
The style is this nice mix of industrial and farmhouse that goes with pretty much everything. I was going for that modern-but-not-too-modern look, and these fit the bill perfectly. Cleaning is super easy too – just wipe them down if something spills.
Overall, these bar stools are kind of perfect for what I needed – they look good, they’re comfortable enough for regular use, and they feel like they’ll last a while. Definitely better quality than I expected for the price!
