Set of 4 Modern Orange Swivel Bar Stools with Gold Base and Upholstered Velvet Backs for Kitchen Island

I’ve gotta say, these orange bar stools have totally transformed my kitchen island! I wasn’t sure about the bold color at first, but honestly, I’m so glad I took the plunge. They’re kind of exactly what my space needed to feel more lively and less… boring.
The swivel feature is pretty impressive. Like, you can spin a full 360° without any annoying squeaking – which is a big deal for me since my last stools made this awful grinding noise whenever anyone turned even slightly. The ball bearings in these are actually quiet, which I didn’t expect!
Height adjustment is super handy too. I’ve got a weird counter situation (don’t ask – renovation compromise with the hubby), and being able to adjust from about 24 to almost 32 inches has been a lifesaver. There’s this little lever under the seat that makes it crazy easy to change the height. To be fair, my son keeps playing with it, which is slightly annoying, but I can’t really blame him.
The comfort level is no joke. The velvet upholstery feels way more expensive than what I paid for these. I work from home some days and end up sitting at my kitchen island for hours, and my back doesn’t kill me afterward. That’s saying something! The backrest is only about 9.5 inches high, but it hits my lower back in just the right spot. And the footrest? Total game-changer when you’re having that second glass of wine with friends.
These definitely have a mid-century vibe that’s trendy right now, but I think they’ll still look good when styles change. The orange velvet paired with that gold base is prettier in person than in pictures. They have this little rivet detail on the back that makes them look fancier than they are. I was surprised at how well they fit in my smallish kitchen – the dimensions (around 21″ wide by 15″ deep) are compact enough that I can still move around easily.
They’re sturdier than I expected too. My brother-in-law is a pretty big guy (close to the 250-pound weight limit) and had no issues. The base has these rubber pads that keep the stools from scratching up my floors, which I appreciate since we just refinished them last year.
Assembly wasn’t bad at all. Took me maybe 15 minutes per stool while watching Netflix. Way easier than that IKEA nightmare bookshelf that’s still not quite right in my living room.
I’ve been using them for everything – coffee in the morning, casual dinners, and they were perfect when we hosted game night last weekend. They’re comfier than my dining chairs, if I’m being honest!









The customer service was pretty good too when I had a question about care instructions. Overall, if you’re on the fence about these Deolme stools like I was, just go for it. They’re definitely worth it for the comfort alone, and the style factor is just a bonus!
