Set of 2 Olive Green Velvet Accent Chairs with Cushion and Wood Frame for Living Room, Bedroom, or Office

I finally found the perfect chairs for my living room corner – these olive green velvet accent chairs are honestly kind of amazing! When they arrived, I was a bit nervous about assembly, but it took me maybe 20 minutes tops with the included tools, which was a nice surprise.
The comfort level is pretty impressive. The seats are super padded with this 6-inch thick foam that just sort of molds to your body when you sit down. I’ve been using one as my primary reading chair, and I can sit there for hours without getting that stiff back feeling I used to get with my old IKEA chair. They’re fairly big too – 32 inches wide by 34 inches deep – which gives you plenty of room to curl up with a book or laptop.
The olive green velvet is what really sold me though. It’s got this subtle sheen that looks different depending on the lighting in my apartment. To be fair, I was worried the color might be too bold, but it actually works perfectly with my neutral walls. The material feels really soft and luxurious – definitely not like those scratchy velvets you sometimes find. My cat is also obsessed with them, which I wasn’t expecting!
Construction-wise, they seem pretty solid. Each chair can apparently hold up to 300 pounds, which is good since my brother-in-law is a pretty big guy and I was a bit worried when he came over. The legs are metal with these little anti-slip pads that are working well on my hardwood floors – no scratches so far, thank goodness.
I’ve placed one in my living room and the other in my home office, and they honestly work in both spaces. The seat height is about 18 inches, which is just right for my height – not too low that I struggle to get up (like my old couch).
Cleaning has been fairly straightforward – my nephew already spilled some juice on one and it wiped up pretty easily with a damp cloth and some mild soap. No staining or anything, which was a relief!
For the price, getting two chairs that look this good is a pretty sweet deal. They’re definitely more comfortable than the chairs at my friend’s place that cost way more. Plus, they come with a one-year warranty which gives me some peace of mind.
