Set of 2 French Bamboo Print Patio Bar Stools, 29.25″ Black Rattan with Armrests and Footrest

I just got these French Bamboo Print Patio Bar Stools for my backyard setup, and honestly, they’re pretty fantastic! I was looking for something to give my patio that sort of Parisian café vibe without breaking the bank, and these totally hit the mark. The black rattan with that bamboo print finish looks way more expensive than what I actually paid.
So they come as a set of two, which was perfect for my small outdoor bar area. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight they are – just about 10 pounds each – which is awesome because I’m constantly rearranging my outdoor space. Don’t let that fool you though – they’re super sturdy! My brother-in-law (who’s definitely not a small guy) tried them out and they held his weight no problem. They’re rated for 350 pounds each, which is kind of impressive for how light they are.
Setting them up wasn’t bad at all. Took me maybe 25 minutes tops, and I’m definitely not handy. The instructions were clear enough, and I didn’t need any special tools or anything. Just a nice Saturday morning project before having friends over.
The height is perfect for my outdoor bar counter – they’re 29.25″ seat height, which lines up great with my 41″ counter. I was a bit worried about comfort since some barstools can be really uncomfortable after a while, but these have these nicely curved armrests that sit at about 37.75″ high, and there’s a footrest that makes sitting for a couple hours totally doable. I had a few friends over for drinks last weekend and no one complained about being uncomfortable, which is pretty much a win in my book!
One thing I really appreciate is how low-maintenance they are. We got caught in a surprise shower the other day, and I completely forgot to cover them or bring them inside. I was freaking out a bit, but they dried off fine and look good as new. The aluminum frame means no rust issues, and that polyethylene rattan stuff they use is apparently UV-resistant, so I’m not too worried about them fading or cracking. I just wipe them down with a damp cloth every now and then.
The seat itself is pretty comfortable – about 17.75″ wide by 17.50″ deep, which gives enough room without taking up too much space on my not-exactly-huge patio. They look really nice paired with my wooden bar table, but I think they’d go with pretty much any outdoor furniture style.
I was actually comparing these to some metal barstools I saw at a big box store, and I’m so glad I went with these instead. They’re comfier, look way nicer, and seem like they’ll last longer in the Florida humidity I deal with.
To be fair, they’re not the cheapest option out there, but for something that’s going to last and actually looks good? Worth every penny. If you’re on the fence, just get them – they’re that perfect mix of practical and stylish that’s hard to find in outdoor furniture.
