So I just got these JESONVID dining chairs last month, and honestly, I’m pretty impressed! Just a heads up though – this is ONLY the chairs, no table included. I actually missed that at first and had a bit of a facepalm moment when they arrived, so definitely double-check before ordering!
These chairs have this really nice Mid-Century modern vibe that works perfectly in my dining area. The rubber wood frame feels surprisingly solid, and I love those little rivet details – they add a touch of character without being too much, you know? The curved backrest is actually way comfier than I expected, and the faux leather upholstery feels pretty high-end for what I paid. The armrests are a huge plus for me since my old dining chairs didn’t have them, and it makes a big difference during those long dinner conversations!
I was kind of skeptical about the “breathing leather” thing in the description, but I have to admit, the faux leather is actually really nice quality. It’s got this antique grey and ivory color scheme that looks more expensive than it is – definitely nicer than the cheap pleather on my previous set. The texture is pretty good too, not that plasticky feel you sometimes get with faux leather.
Okay, so the wheels? Total game-changer! I didn’t realize how annoying it was to constantly scoot chairs around until I didn’t have to anymore. They roll super smoothly on my hardwood floors and haven’t left any scratches (which was my biggest fear, to be honest). It’s one of those little luxuries you don’t think you need until you have it. My mother-in-law, who has some mobility issues, actually commented on how much easier these were to use when she visited for dinner last weekend.
Durability-wise, these seem built to last. My husband is a bigger guy (around 250 lbs) and he feels totally secure in them. The memory foam padding is thicker than it looks in the pictures, and after a few 3-hour board game sessions, I can confirm they stay comfortable way longer than our old dining chairs. The button-tufted details on the back aren’t just for show either – they actually provide nice support.
Each chair is about 24″W x 25″D x 34″H with a seat height of 18″ and armrest height of 26″. For reference, I’m 5’7″ and they fit me perfectly – not too high, not too low. They’re also pretty versatile – we’ve been using them in our dining room, but I could totally see these working in a home office or even as accent chairs in a living room.
At 46.3 pounds each, they’re not lightweight, but that actually makes them feel more substantial and premium. The weight capacity is 280 lbs per chair, which gives me confidence they’ll hold up well over time. Maintenance has been pretty straightforward too – just wiping them down with a damp cloth when needed.
I’ve only had them for about a month, but so far they’ve been a great addition to our home. Definitely an upgrade from our old dining set, and way more comfortable than those hard wooden chairs at my sister’s place!
