I just got this SEJOV convertible sofa bed thing for my tiny apartment, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer. I was super skeptical at first – like, how good can a 4-in-1 furniture piece actually be? But I’ve been pleasantly surprised.
The whole 4-in-1 concept isn’t just marketing fluff. You can actually switch it between a loveseat, chaise lounge, flat bed, and ottoman pretty easily. I’ve got about 500 square feet to work with in my place, so this flexibility has been kind of amazing. The two pillows that come with it are pretty decent too – not amazing quality or anything, but they do the job when I want some extra support while binging Netflix.
The fabric feels nicer than I expected for the price point. It’s this linen-type material that doesn’t make you sweat even after sitting on it for hours (trust me, I’ve tested this thoroughly during weekend gaming sessions). The cushioning is pretty good too – firm enough that you don’t sink in completely, but still comfy for extended sitting. My cat has already tried to claw it a couple times, and so far it’s holding up okay.
One thing I really appreciate is the adjustable backrest. There are 5 different positions, which is great because my partner likes to sit more upright while I prefer to slouch back like a teenager. You can also take the armrest off completely, which I thought was a weird feature at first but is actually helpful when you want to stretch out.
Assembly wasn’t bad at all. Took me maybe 15 minutes instead of the advertised 10, but that’s probably because I was trying to watch TV at the same time. No tools needed, which was a relief since my “toolbox” is basically a random hammer and some mismatched screwdrivers.
Size-wise, it’s perfect for my space. When it’s in bed mode (about 71″ wide), it’s not quite as big as a twin mattress, but it’s comfortable enough for overnight guests. My buddy crashed on it last weekend and didn’t complain, which is saying something since he’s usually pretty picky. The weight limit is supposedly 350 pounds, and it feels pretty sturdy when I’m on it.
The brown-grey color is really neutral and goes with pretty much everything in my apartment, which is a hodgepodge of IKEA and hand-me-downs. It’s definitely got a modern look to it – clean lines, nothing too fancy or ornate.
To be fair, I wouldn’t recommend this as your primary everyday bed if you have alternatives, but for a multipurpose piece in a small space? It’s not bad at all. Definitely better than my old futon from college that made that weird squeaky noise whenever you sat on it.

I’ve had this for about a month now, and it’s held up pretty well with daily use. The breathable fabric is actually nice because my apartment gets kind of stuffy in the afternoon, and I haven’t noticed any sagging in the cushions yet. The frame feels solid – no weird creaking or wobbling even when my roommate (who’s a pretty big guy) plops down on it.
I think what I like most is just how practical it is. Last week I had my parents visit unexpectedly, and being able to convert this into a bed in like 30 seconds saved me from having to give up my own bed. And when I’m working from home, I can adjust it into the chaise position and feel slightly less like a gremlin during Zoom calls.
For small apartments, dorms, or even as a spare bed/seating option in a home office, it’s honestly a solid choice. Just don’t expect luxury furniture quality and you won’t be disappointed. It’s comfortable enough, looks decent, and the versatility factor is pretty impressive for what you’re paying.
