Scorpion Gaming Cockpit Ergonomic Chair – Space Capsule Design, Black

Okay, so I’ve been seriously looking at upgrading my gaming setup for months now, and I finally pulled the trigger on this Scorpion Gaming Chair thing. Honestly? It’s kind of blown my mind.
This isn’t just some regular gaming chair – it’s this whole cockpit situation that looks like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. The scorpion design isn’t just for show either (though it definitely makes my gaming room look pretty badass). The thing is built for people who game hard, stream a lot, or work from home like I do.
So the first thing that caught my eye was that it can hold up to three screens at once. I’ve been running dual monitors for years, but having that third one makes such a difference for multitasking! There’s this RGB light strip built into it too – 16 different colors that you can change depending on your mood. To be fair, I mostly keep mine on blue or purple, but it’s nice having options.
What really sold me though was how comfortable this thing is. I’m the kind of guy who can easily game for 5-6 hours straight (probably not the healthiest, I know), and my old chair was absolutely killing my back. This scorpion chair lets you adjust literally everything – you can sit up straight when you’re in competitive mode, recline when you’re watching something, or go halfway in between. It’s all controlled with these buttons too – no awkward reaching around and pulling levers.
The zero-gravity recline feature? Game changer. It’s weirdly similar to the fancy chairs at those high-end movie theaters, but in my own room. My girlfriend tried it out and immediately started asking if we could get one for her office too.
The materials are pretty solid – it’s not real leather (which is fine by me), but the PU leather they used feels nice and hasn’t shown any wear after about a month of daily use. The frame is made from this thick alloy steel that feels super sturdy. I’m about 220 pounds and this thing handles my weight with no problem – supposedly it can support up to 300.
One thing I wasn’t expecting was how big the keyboard tray would be. It’s massive – like 90cm by 40cm (about 35 by 15 inches for us Americans). I can fit my full-sized gaming keyboard, mouse, and still have room for snacks or my phone. There’s even this little hidden cup holder which has saved my desk from countless spills.
Installation was… well, not terrible but not great either. Took me and my buddy about 2 hours to put together. The instructions were detailed enough, but there were a few confusing parts where we had to kind of wing it.
Not gonna lie, this chair takes up a decent amount of space. Make sure you measure your room before ordering. It’s about 120cm long, 80cm wide and stands about 140cm tall. I had to rearrange my whole setup to fit it, but it was totally worth it.
I actually like that it’s customizable too. Mine’s the basic black model, but apparently you can get different colors, upgrade to massage features (which I’m seriously considering), and add other accessories. The headphone hanger that comes with it is a small touch but super convenient.
After using it for gaming marathons, work days, and even just chilling and watching Netflix, I’d say this is probably the best investment I’ve made for my setup in years. Yeah, it’s a splurge, but my back and neck feel so much better, and it just makes the whole experience of sitting at my computer way more enjoyable.
