I just upgraded my home office with the Okeysen Ergonomic Leather Chair in brown, and honestly, I’m kind of kicking myself for not doing this sooner. After spending way too many hours in my old rickety chair during the pandemic, my back was definitely not thanking me!
This chair has a pretty sleek look to it—the brown faux leather and aluminum accents actually match my desk setup better than I expected. It’s got this modern vibe without being too “look at me, I’m fancy” about it. The company throws in a 1-year warranty too, which was reassuring since I’ve been burned before with office chairs falling apart after a few months.
Comfort-wise, it’s definitely a step up from what I was using. The lumbar support is actually there, not just promised in the product description like some chairs I’ve tried. I’ve been working 8-hour days (plus some Netflix binges, if I’m being honest), and my lower back isn’t screaming at me anymore. The cushion is thick enough—not as plush as my couch, but to be fair, it’s not supposed to be.
The adjustability is probably the best part. I’m not super tall, so being able to drop the height down was crucial (goes from like 15.35″ to 19.69″ if you’re wondering). My partner who’s taller can raise it when he uses my desk, which is pretty convenient. The tilting feature is nice too—I can kick back during conference calls or when I’m just thinking. It goes back to about 120 degrees, which is enough for a nice stretch without feeling like you’re about to flip over.
I was a bit worried about the wheels on my hardwood floors, but they actually roll pretty smoothly without scratching anything. The chair spins around fully which is, let’s face it, fun even when you don’t need to spin. The base seems stable enough—I’ve accidentally dropped into it a few times and it hasn’t wobbled at all. They say it can hold up to 330 pounds, which seems believable given how solid it feels.
Size-wise, it’s just right for my small-ish home office. Not taking up too much space but not making me feel cramped either. It’s about 39-44 inches tall depending on how you adjust it, with a seat that’s roughly 19 inches wide.
Putting it together wasn’t terrible—took me maybe 20 minutes? The instructions were clear enough, and all the parts were there (which honestly feels like a miracle these days). It’s not super heavy either, I managed to carry the box upstairs by myself.
The faux leather seems pretty decent quality. Obviously not the same as a $1000 chair, but it wipes clean easily—I already spilled coffee on it and you’d never know. Overall, if you’re working from home like half the planet now and need something that won’t wreck your back or look totally out of place in your bedroom-turned-office, this is a solid option. Not life-changing, but definitely a good buy for what I paid.
