So, I finally found my perfect match in the office chair world! I’ve been struggling with sitting still for years (hello, ADHD brain) and honestly, most traditional chairs just made me miserable after an hour or so. This Meditation Office Chair with wheels is kind of a game-changer for someone like me who needs to fidget and move around while working.
The thing I love most? I can literally sit however I want! Some days I’m cross-legged, other days I’m kneeling or even in this weird half-squat position that’s surprisingly comfy. It’s pretty much designed for people who hate being stuck in one position all day. I’ve been working from home since 2020, and to be fair, this chair has made my home office setup way more bearable.
The active sitting aspect is no joke. Before, I’d get up like every 20 minutes because I just couldn’t focus, but now I can just shift positions right in my chair. It’s almost like I’m tricking my brain into thinking I’m moving around enough, and my focus has definitely improved. I didn’t expect that!
That 360-degree swivel footstool is seriously genius. When I’m feeling particularly fidgety, I can mess around with it, and when I need to be “professional” for a Zoom call, I can quickly adjust it to look like a normal chair. The wheels roll super smoothly too – much better than my old IKEA chair that would get stuck on my carpet all the time.
Comfort-wise, it’s pretty darn good. The seat cushion is thick (3.7 inches) and supportive, which matters when you’re sitting in weird positions all day. I was worried about my lower back since I have some old issues there, but the crescent backrest actually provides decent lumbar support. It’s comfier than my old chair by a mile, and my back hasn’t been complaining nearly as much.
The build quality seems solid so far. I’m not exactly gentle with my furniture (I tend to flop into chairs), but this one hasn’t shown any signs of giving out. The weight limit is 250 pounds, which works for me. The faux leather is soft enough and easy to wipe down – I spilled coffee on it last week and it cleaned up without any issues.
Size-wise, it’s got a good amount of space (20 inches wide) to accommodate my various sitting styles. The height adjustment is helpful too since I switch between my desk and a higher counter sometimes.
The only downside? My cat thinks the footstool is her new bed, so we’re currently in negotiations about who gets priority access. So far, she’s winning.
If you’re someone who can’t sit still, does yoga, or just hates conventional chairs, you might want to check this out. It’s kind of weird-looking at first, but honestly, my productivity (and my back) are thanking me.
