# GTPLAYER Gaming Chair with Footrest, Lumbar Support, and Adjustable Swivel Seat (White)
So I finally caved and got myself this GTPLAYER gaming chair after my old office chair started killing my back, and honestly? It’s been a total game-changer. I’ve been using it for about three weeks now, and I’m kinda mad I didn’t upgrade sooner.
The comfort level is pretty impressive. There’s this plush headrest that’s been a lifesaver for my neck (I’m always looking down at my phone or monitor), and the lumbar pillow actually does what it’s supposed to do. I work from home most days, and I used to get up feeling like an 80-year-old after sitting for a few hours, but that’s not really happening anymore.
One thing that surprised me was how sturdy this chair feels. My last “gaming chair” had these cheap plastic legs that started wobbling after like 6 months. This GTPLAYER one has an all-metal frame and metal legs, which makes a huge difference. My cat loves jumping on everything I own, and this chair doesn’t even budge when she pounces on it. It’s supposed to hold up to 300 pounds, and I believe it—this thing is built like a tank.
The footrest feature? Absolute genius. When I’m taking a break or watching something on YouTube, I just pull it out, recline back, and I’m basically in heaven. It’s not quite as comfy as my couch, but it’s close enough that I sometimes find myself dozing off during lunch breaks. The whole chair is covered in this PU leather that’s super easy to wipe down—I spilled coffee on it yesterday and it cleaned up in seconds with just a cloth.
The armrests are nicely padded too, which is something I didn’t realize mattered until I had it. The seat cushion still feels good after weeks of use—no sinking or flattening so far. I was worried about that because I had a cheaper chair before where I could literally feel the base board after a month.
Size-wise, it’s about 21 inches wide and 52 inches tall when upright. You can recline it pretty far back (up to 150 degrees), which is perfect for those moments when you need to stare at the ceiling and contemplate your life choices. It weighs around 40 pounds, so it’s substantial but I could still move it around my office by myself.
The white color looks way better in person than I expected—gives my dark gaming setup a nice contrast. The whole chair swivels 360 degrees (obviously), and you can adjust the height about 4 inches up or down. The reclining feature has a lock too, so you don’t suddenly flip backward during an intense gaming moment.
Assembly wasn’t bad at all. Took me maybe 30 minutes, and I’m definitely not handy. Everything came well-packaged with clear instructions.
To be fair, it’s not perfect—nothing ever is, right? It took a couple days to break in properly, and the armrests could maybe be a bit more adjustable. But for what I paid, this chair is seriously good value. Their customer service seems solid too—they offer free replacements or refunds within 30 days and repairs within a year, which gave me some peace of mind.
If you’re on the fence like I was, just get it. Your back will thank you, trust me.
