OK so I’ve been using this Graco Floor2Table 7-in-1 high chair for a few months now, and honestly? It’s kind of amazing how versatile this thing is. I didn’t really expect to get so much use out of it when I first got it, but it’s pretty much grown with my little one exactly like they said it would.
So this high chair (in the Atwood design, which is basically this nice gray and white pattern that actually looks decent in our dining room) can be used in, yeah, seven different ways. That seemed like marketing hype to me at first, but we’ve actually used like 4 of the configurations already!
When my son was just starting to sit up—he was around 6 months old and maybe 18 pounds or so—we used the infant floor seat configuration. It was actually super convenient to have him sitting safely on the floor while I made dinner. The foam back is comfy for him and way easier to clean than my sister’s fabric high chair. Just a quick wipe and you’re good to go.
Then we moved to the regular high chair mode, which we still use most days. It’s got this 3-position recline thing that’s been really useful, especially when he was younger and sometimes got tired during meals. The 5-point harness keeps my little wiggler secure, thank goodness. The tray is honestly bigger than I expected—definitely roomier than the one at my in-laws’ house.
The thing weighs about 22 pounds altogether, which isn’t exactly light, but it feels really stable, which is what matters when your kid is throwing themselves around at mealtime! The steel frame isn’t going anywhere.
We’ve also tried the infant booster setup at my parents’ house. You basically just strap it to one of their dining chairs, and boom—instant high chair without having to bring the whole contraption. Super convenient for visits.
I haven’t used the toddler booster yet, but my friend has the same chair and her 2-year-old uses it that way. And I’m kind of looking forward to the table and chair mode for when he’s big enough for art projects and stuff.
Oh, and this is pretty cool—you can actually use it for two kids at once! My nephew comes over sometimes, and we can have both boys sitting together using different parts of the system. That was a feature I definitely didn’t think we’d use, but it’s come in handy a couple of times already.
The trays are dishwasher-safe (thank GOD), and everything wipes clean pretty easily. We’ve had some spectacular spaghetti disasters, and the chair survived just fine. I just throw the seat pad in the washing machine once a week or so.
When it’s not in use, it folds up smaller than I expected—not tiny or anything, but it fits in our coat closet without taking up too much space. It’s around 25″ wide and 35″ high when folded, so not bad at all.
The only thing I’d change? Maybe make the wheels a bit bigger. They work fine on our hardwood, but they can be a little stubborn on carpet.
All in all, if you’re looking for a high chair that’ll last more than a few months, this one’s not a bad choice at all. We’ve definitely gotten our money’s worth out of it already, and we’ve got years to go!
