I’ve finally found my holy grail travel stroller! Not gonna lie, I was pretty skeptical when I first ordered the gb Pockit Air All-Terrain in Night Blue, but after using it for the past three months, I’m honestly blown away.
Let me tell you, this thing folds down to literally nothing—like, seriously, it turns into this handbag-sized package (about 11.8 x 7.1 x 13.8 inches) in seconds. The first time I folded it up, my husband was like “Wait, where did the stroller go?” It’s kind of ridiculous how compact it gets! We just flew to visit my parents, and I could actually put it in the overhead bin on the plane. No more gate-checking and waiting around after landing with a cranky toddler!
At just 10.1 pounds, it’s super lightweight too. I can easily carry it with one hand while holding my toddler with the other, which has been a total game-changer at the airport. The aluminum frame feels sturdy though, so I don’t worry about it breaking even though it’s so light. My son is getting pretty big now (almost 30 pounds), and the stroller handles his weight just fine—it can supposedly hold kids up to 48.5 pounds, so we’ve got room to grow.
The double wheels are better than I expected. They’re not going to tackle serious off-roading or anything, but they’ve handled cobblestone streets, gravel paths at the park, and those annoying bumpy sidewalks in our neighborhood pretty well. You can lock the front wheels when you’re on rougher ground, which definitely helps with control. It’s also super easy to maneuver through crowded places—we took it to the farmers market last weekend and had no trouble weaving through the crowds.
One thing I really appreciate is the mesh backrest. My son gets so sweaty in other strollers during summer, but this one keeps him much cooler with all that airflow. Though to be fair, we did buy the padded inlay for winter months, which was worth the extra money. The multiple recline positions are nice too—he actually fell asleep in it during our last zoo trip, which never happens!
The storage basket isn’t huge compared to my everyday stroller, but it can still hold the essentials—a couple diapers, wipes, my wallet, phone, and a small water bottle. I’ve probably overloaded it a few times (oops) but it’s held up to about 11 pounds of my stuff without issues.
The fabric has been surprisingly durable. My son spilled juice all over it last week, and it wiped clean super easily. And the sun canopy is decent—not the biggest I’ve seen, but it provides good UV protection (UPF50+) which is important since my little guy has such fair skin.
If you’re traveling a lot or just don’t have much storage space at home (apartment living, am I right?), I’d definitely recommend the Pockit Air All-Terrain. It’s pricier than some basic travel strollers, but for something this portable that doesn’t feel like a flimsy umbrella stroller, I think it’s totally worth it. The Night Blue color is really nice too—more stylish than your typical black stroller and doesn’t show dirt as much as a lighter color would.
