Pair Blue Footrest

So I finally got around to replacing those broken footrests on my grandma’s transport chair, and honestly, these blue ones for the ATC17 and ATC19 models are pretty good! They fit perfectly on her chair – which was kind of a relief because I was worried I’d order the wrong ones.
The material feels pretty solid – it’s this ABS plastic with an aluminum frame that’s got some powder coating on it. Not flimsy at all, which is exactly what we needed after the last pair broke during a family outing (don’t even get me started on that disaster!). The blue color is actually nicer than I expected – gives her chair a bit of personality, and it doesn’t look like it’ll fade anytime soon.
Size-wise, they’re about 8 inches long, 6 inches wide, and maybe 3 inches tall? Plenty of room for feet, and they have this textured surface that keeps her feet from sliding around. My grandma mentioned they’re actually more comfortable than her original ones because of how they position her feet. I think it helps with circulation or something when she’s sitting for a while at her doctor’s appointments.
The best part? I’m honestly terrible with tools, but these were super easy to install. They come with these brackets already attached, and they just click onto the chair frame. Took me like 2 minutes total, no joke. They’re really lightweight too – probably about 1.2 pounds for the pair – which is nice because the chair was already heavy enough to lift into my car trunk.
They hold up to 250 pounds according to the package, which matches what her transport chair can handle. We’ve been using them for a few weeks now for trips to the store and doctor visits, and to be fair, they’re holding up way better than I thought they would.
Cleaning them is also pretty straightforward – just some soap and water does the trick after we got caught in the rain last weekend. All in all, if you need replacement footrests for these specific chair models, I’d say these are definitely worth picking up. Not perfect, but they do exactly what they’re supposed to!
