Folding Faux Fur Saucer Chair for Adults & Kids, Black

So I finally caved and bought this black faux fur saucer chair I’d been eyeing for ages, and honestly? It’s been one of the best impulse buys I’ve made in a while!
I’m living in a pretty tiny apartment right now, and finding comfy seating that doesn’t take up half my living room has been a struggle. This chair is kind of perfect for my situation – it fits nicely in that awkward corner by my window that nothing else would work in. My cat has basically claimed it as her own when I’m not using it, which is both adorable and slightly annoying when I actually want to sit there myself!
The faux fur is actually way softer than I expected. Like, seriously plush – not that scratchy fake stuff you sometimes get with cheaper furniture. It’s got this really nice black color that goes with pretty much everything (my place is sort of a hodgepodge of styles, so that’s a big plus). To be fair, I was a bit worried about how sturdy it would be since I’m not exactly petite, but the metal frame feels really solid and handles my weight no problem. The specs say it supports up to 250 lbs, which seems about right.
One thing I was dreading was having to put it together – I’m terrible with assembly instructions – but it literally came ready to go! You just unfold it and you’re done. When my parents visited last weekend and I needed extra seating, I just pulled it out of my closet where it was folded up flat. Super convenient.
The non-slip feet on the bottom are a nice touch too. My last chair used to slide all over my hardwood floors (gave me a minor heart attack more than once), but this one stays put. No scratches on my floor either, which my landlord would definitely appreciate!
Size-wise, it’s pretty much perfect for what I need – about 33.5” x 26.8” x 32”. It’s big enough to curl up in comfortably but doesn’t dominate the room like my friend’s massive bean bag chair that I was considering instead. The saucer shape is actually really comfortable too – kind of cradles you when you’re sitting in it.
Cleaning hasn’t been too bad so far. My coffee may have spilled on it once (or twice… who’s counting?), but it wiped up pretty easily. The fur is supposedly hypoallergenic too, which is good since my sister is allergic to basically everything and she visits sometimes.
For something that only weighs about 10 pounds, it feels way more substantial than you’d think. I’ve been using it as my primary reading chair for a couple months now, and it’s holding up better than that IKEA chair I had that started sagging after like two weeks.
