Devoko Metal Stackable Kitchen Dining Chairs, Set of 4 (Black)

So I finally bit the bullet and grabbed these Devoko metal dining chairs in black after our kitchen renovation. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect for the price, but I’m kind of impressed! They’ve got this cool distressed industrial look that works perfectly with our new kitchen island.
I’ve been looking for something that could handle both indoor and outdoor use since we entertain a lot on the patio in summer. These chairs are actually pretty versatile – I can totally see why cafes and restaurants use similar ones. The black finish has this nice polish that seems fairly scratch-resistant (though my 6-year-old is definitely testing that claim, lol).
The stainless steel construction feels way sturdier than I expected. We’ve got some, um, larger friends who were a bit hesitant to sit on our old IKEA chairs, but these are rated for 340 pounds each, which is pretty reassuring. There’s this cross-brace thing under the seat that probably helps with that.
Size-wise, they’re not massive but definitely comfortable enough – the seat is about 14 inches square, and the backrest is a good height (around 16 inches). They sit at a standard height of about 18 inches, which works perfectly with our dining table. Overall dimensions are like 17.5″ wide by 18.1″ deep and 33.3″ high, so they don’t take up too much space.
One feature I didn’t even think about but absolutely love? The little drain holes in the seat! We had a surprise rainstorm the other day and I forgot to bring them in, but they dried super fast. The stackable design is a lifesaver too – we have limited storage in our garage for when we have bigger gatherings and need to clear floor space.
The rubber feet are a nice touch since our floors are pretty easily scratched. I was worried about that annoying metal-on-floor screech, but they slide pretty quietly. Cleanup is ridiculously easy compared to our old fabric chairs – just a quick wipe and they’re good to go, which is perfect with messy kids around.
To be fair, they’re not as padded as our previous chairs, but we just threw on some simple cushions when we want extra comfort for longer dinners. For the price point and durability, these are seriously not bad at all. They’re definitely lighter than they look too – the whole set of 4 is around 41 pounds, which makes rearranging super easy.
