Cute Mushroom Stool for Kids’ Room and Garden Decor (Red)

I just got this adorable red mushroom stool for my niece’s room, and honestly, I’m kind of obsessed with it! It’s this super cute mushroom-shaped seat that comes in either red (which is what I went with) or green. I was actually torn between the two colors, but the red just matched her room better.
So the stool is made of resin, which makes it pretty lightweight—only about a pound—but surprisingly sturdy. My niece is about 45 pounds, and it holds her with no problem at all. The specs say it can handle up to 110 pounds, which is pretty impressive for something so small and light.
Size-wise, it’s about 12.6 inches by 9.4 inches by 11 inches, so it’s not huge or anything. Perfect for a small kid, though! What I really love is that it’s hand-painted and has all these tiny details like little mushrooms and flowers around the base. It genuinely looks like something out of a fairy tale, you know? Way cuter than those plastic IKEA stools everyone has.
The resin material is actually weather-resistant too, which is nice because my sister sometimes puts it out in their little courtyard when my niece is playing outside. I didn’t expect that kind of versatility when I bought it, to be fair. It’s held up fine even when they forgot it outside during a light rain last week.
My niece uses it for everything—sitting while coloring, as a little table for her tea parties, and sometimes just as a decoration in her “fairy corner” (that’s what she calls it, so adorable). The edges are all smooth, so I don’t worry about her hurting herself, and the bottom doesn’t slip around on their hardwood floors, which is a huge plus.
Cleaning it is super easy too—just a quick wipe with a damp cloth and it looks good as new. Definitely beats her old plastic step stool that always looked grimy no matter how much I cleaned it!
