I finally got my hands on this Bluey & Chloe bean bag chair for my 4-year-old niece, and honestly, it’s been such a hit! The micromink fabric feels way softer than I expected – kind of like that cozy blanket you never want to let go of. The Bluey and Chloe graphics are super vibrant and my niece (who’s basically a Bluey superfan) totally freaked out when she saw it.
What I really appreciate is how it’s actually designed with real kids in mind. It’s got this supportive backrest and little armrests that make it feel like a proper little sofa chair rather than just a blob of beans, if that makes sense? It’s pretty small though – about 18 inches all around with an 11-inch seat depth – which is perfect for my niece but definitely wouldn’t work for older kids. My 7-year-old nephew tried it and looked ridiculous!
The whole thing only weighs about 2 pounds, which is nothing. My niece drags it all over the house by the handle, from her bedroom to the living room depending on where she wants to watch her shows. That’s been a game-changer because she can set up her own little spot wherever she wants without asking for help.
I was a bit skeptical about the quality at first (to be fair, most kid stuff falls apart in like 5 minutes), but this seems pretty well-made. The beans are contained in some nylon inner shell with a safety zipper that’s sealed up tight. No beans escaping all over my sister’s carpet, thank goodness! The outer fabric has held up to a few juice spills too – just wiped it down with a damp cloth and it was good as new.
One thing to note – the beans do kind of compress a bit after a few weeks of use. Not badly, but you can tell it’s not quite as plump as when we first got it. Still comfortable though, and my niece doesn’t seem to mind at all.
It fits perfectly in the corner of her small bedroom without taking up too much space. I’ve actually considered getting another one because she has these little Bluey playdates where her friends come over, and they literally fight over who gets to sit in the “special chair.”
If your kid is into Bluey (and let’s be real, what kid isn’t these days?), this is a pretty good gift option. It’s great for reading time, watching TV, or just hanging out. Not bad at all for the price, especially compared to some other character-themed furniture I’ve seen that costs way more and doesn’t seem any better quality.

It’s become the designated spot for storytime and cartoon watching. The fact that kids can move it around by themselves is a huge plus – gives them that bit of independence they’re always craving at this age. If you’ve got a Bluey fan in your house, this is definitely going to be a hit. Just be prepared that you might need to get another one if there are siblings involved – I’ve witnessed some pretty intense chair-sharing negotiations!
