I finally bit the bullet and upgraded my home office setup with this beige executive chair, and honestly, I’m kicking myself for not doing it sooner!
So I’ve been working from home for about a year now, and my old chair was seriously killing my back. This new one though? Game changer!
The PU leather is actually pretty nice—not as premium as real leather obviously, but for the price point, it’s not bad at all. It’s got this soft, kind of plush feel that’s way more comfortable than I expected. I was worried it might get hot and sticky during long Zoom marathons, but it’s surprisingly breathable.
The cushioning is where this chair really shines though. Like, I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s way more comfortable than my living room couch! The foam is thick and supportive—I’ve been sitting in it for 6-7 hours some days, and it hasn’t started to flatten or anything. My old chair would have me shifting around every 10 minutes, but I can actually focus on work now.
The build quality is pretty solid. It’s got this heavy-duty steel base that doesn’t wobble like my cheap IKEA chair used to. The weight capacity is 330 pounds, which is kind of overkill for me, but it’s nice knowing it’s sturdy. The wheels roll super smoothly on my hardwood floors too—no scratches so far, which was a big concern of mine.
Height adjustment is straightforward—just a lever on the side that lets you go from about 32.7″ to 36.6″ from floor to seat. I’m 5’10”, and I found a sweet spot that works perfectly with my desk. The tilt function is decent too—you can lean back to about 120° when you need a quick brain break. To be fair, I was hoping it would recline a bit further, but it’s comfortable enough.
One thing I wasn’t expecting to love so much is the armrests. They’ve got just enough padding to rest my elbows comfortably while typing. My old chair had these hard plastic armrests that would leave my elbows sore after a while.
Assembly wasn’t too bad either. Took me maybe 20 minutes, not the 15 they claim, but close enough. All the parts were there, and the instructions were pretty straightforward. No mysterious extra screws leftover, which is always a good sign, right?
The only slight downside is that there was a tiny measurement difference from what was advertised—maybe half an inch on the seat width—but honestly, it’s not noticeable unless you’re specifically looking for it.
Oh, and the beige color? Actually works perfectly with my setup! I was torn between this and a black one, but the beige brightens up my home office and doesn’t make the space feel so corporate and boring.
For anyone spending long hours at their desk—whether you’re working, gaming, or studying—this chair is definitely worth considering. My back pain has seriously decreased, and I feel way more productive without constantly shifting around trying to get comfortable.
