Ashley Soletren Modern Chenille Sofa with 4 Pillows, Off-White

I finally pulled the trigger on the Ashley Soletren sofa and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with my decision! After months of browsing through furniture stores and endless online scrolling, this cream chenille beauty just kind of spoke to me, you know?
When it arrived (fully assembled, thank goodness!), I was pretty impressed by how substantial it felt. At 157 pounds, it’s definitely not flimsy, but my brother and I managed to get it through my doorway without too much drama. The cream color is exactly what I was hoping for – not stark white but a soft, warm off-white that doesn’t show every little mark.
The chenille fabric feels seriously luxurious – like, way softer than I expected. I’ve had polyester sofas before that felt a bit cheap, but this one has this plush, velvety texture that makes you want to run your hands over it. My cat is also a big fan, unfortunately!
What I really love is how deep the seating is – about 23 inches – which means I can actually curl up properly without feeling like I’m about to fall off. The “three over two” cushion setup (which basically means there’s no middle seat divider) is honestly genius for someone like me who likes to sprawl out during Netflix binges.
The four geometric pillows that came with it are pretty nice quality too – not those cheap throw pillows that flatten after one use. They add a bit of visual interest without being too in-your-face about it.
Size-wise, at 96 inches wide, it comfortably fits three adults without that awkward shoulder-touching situation. It’s actually bigger than my previous sofa but somehow looks more streamlined in my space. The height (39″) and depth (40″) feel just right for my living room – substantial without overwhelming everything else.
To be fair, I was a little nervous about the 300-pound weight limit per seat at first (I like to host game nights), but it’s been totally solid so far. The platform foundation definitely seems sturdier than my old spring sofa that started sagging after like six months.
If you’re considering this, just make sure you have a doorway that’s at least 32 inches wide. Mine barely squeaked through at 33 inches, and there was definitely a moment where I thought I’d made a terrible mistake!
For a contemporary piece from Signature Design by Ashley, I think the quality is pretty good for what you pay. The solid and manufactured wood frame feels substantial, not like it’s going to fall apart after a year. It’s comfier than my friend’s more expensive West Elm sofa, if I’m being totally honest.






I’m kind of obsessed with the streamlined silhouette – it’s trendy without being too “out there,” if that makes sense? The chunky chenille texture gives it this cozy vibe that still looks pulled together. Those throw pillows with their geometric patterns tied everything in with my existing decor surprisingly well!
This has become the centerpiece of my apartment where everyone gravitates during get-togethers. I’ve actually been spending way more time in my living room since getting this – it’s perfect for my Sunday afternoon reading sessions or when I need to work from home but can’t stand my desk for another minute.
One small thing – the care instructions say to spot clean with a damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals. I accidentally spilled some red wine (classic me) and was able to clean it up before it set, but I’m definitely being more careful now and considering a scotchguard treatment.
