9-Piece Modern Dining Table Set with 8 Chairs, White, 70.86″ L

I just upgraded our dining room with this 9-piece white dining set, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with it! After weeks of searching for something that wouldn’t break the bank but still look kinda high-end, this table and chair combo totally hit the mark.
The materials are pretty impressive for the price point. The table is made of this engineered wood with a white lacquer finish that’s actually holding up really well against my kids’ constant assaults with forks and spilled juice. I was a bit worried it might scratch easily, but so far, so good! The tabletop feels solid—definitely sturdy enough to handle our Thanksgiving spread without me stressing about it collapsing (it can hold like 220 pounds, which is more than enough).
Those wave-shaped legs? Not gonna lie, they’re what sold me initially. They look way more expensive than they are and give the whole thing this modern vibe that makes our somewhat outdated dining area feel like it belongs in this decade. Plus, they’re made of steel, so the table doesn’t wobble at all—a huge improvement over our last rickety table!
The chairs are surprisingly comfy! I wasn’t expecting much, to be fair, but the padding is about 2 inches thick and they have this nice polyester fabric that’s been pretty forgiving with spills. My husband is on the heavier side and was skeptical, but they’re rated for 250 pounds each and haven’t shown any signs of giving out. We’ve sat through several 3-hour board game nights without that awful backache I used to get from our old chairs.
One thing I really appreciate is those rounded corners on the table. My youngest used to constantly bang his head on our old table’s sharp edges, which was a nightmare. These rounded corners have saved us from at least a dozen potential meltdowns already!
Size-wise, it’s perfect for our space—about 71 inches long and 31.5 inches wide. We can fit all eight chairs around it without everyone feeling squished together, which is nice when the in-laws come over. The whole set takes up less visual space than I expected too, probably because of the clean white design.
Assembly wasn’t exactly fun (is it ever?), but it wasn’t terrible either. Took my husband and me about 75 minutes to put everything together. The instructions were decent, and they included all the tools we needed, which was a nice surprise.
Overall, if you’re looking for something that feels a bit more special than your standard big-box store dining set but doesn’t cost a fortune, this is definitely worth checking out. It’s modern without being too trendy, so I think it’ll age well design-wise. And cleaning is a breeze—just wipe down the table and spot clean the chairs if needed. Not bad at all for a dining set that looks like it should cost twice as much!
