9-Piece Faux Marble Dining Table Set with 8 Leather Chairs

I just upgraded my dining room with this 9-piece faux marble dining table set, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with how it’s transformed the space! The table is pretty massive at 78 inches long and 40 inches wide, which is exactly what I needed for my family of five plus the inevitable guests that always seem to show up for dinner. We had a smaller table before this one, and let me tell you, the difference is night and day.
The faux marble top is kind of amazing—I was skeptical at first since it’s not real marble, but it looks so convincing! It’s got this beautiful veining pattern that several of my friends thought was genuine until I told them otherwise. And to be fair, it’s way more practical than real marble would be. I accidentally left a hot pan on it last week (oops!) and there wasn’t even a mark.
Setting it up wasn’t exactly a walk in the park, though. This thing is heavy—about 150 pounds—so my brother-in-law had to come over to help. It took us maybe an hour and a half to get everything assembled, which wasn’t too bad considering how solid it is. The instructions were pretty straightforward, although we did have that one “wait, which screw goes where?” moment that seems inevitable with any furniture assembly.
The chairs are surprisingly comfortable for dining chairs! I’ve sat in my fair share of hard, uncomfortable seats at friends’ houses, but these ones have this nice cushioning that makes long dinners actually enjoyable. The PU leather feels soft but seems durable enough to handle my kids’ messes. I went with the beige option to brighten up our space, and it works really well with our somewhat eclectic decor style.
What I didn’t expect was how versatile this table would be. It’s become command central in our house—the kids do homework here, I’ve been using it as a makeshift office on WFH days, and last weekend we had an epic board game night that the whole family still hasn’t stopped talking about. It’s sturdier than my old kitchen table, which always had this annoying wobble no matter how many times I tried to fix it.
The modern look really freshened up our dining room, which was starting to feel a bit dated. It’s got this sleek vibe but isn’t so trendy that it’ll look out of place in a couple of years. If you’re on the fence about this purchase, I’d say go for it—it’s not perfect (what is?), but it’s definitely been worth every penny for us.
