5-Piece Kitchen Table Set: Round Faux Marble Table & 4 Wooden Chairs

I honestly didn’t think I’d be this excited about a kitchen table set, but here we are! I recently picked up this 5-piece round table with faux marble top and four wooden chairs, and it’s honestly been such a game-changer for my small apartment.
Let me tell you – the whole modern-yet-classic vibe it gives off is pretty impressive. It kind of goes with everything else I have (which is a weird mix of IKEA and hand-me-downs, if I’m being honest). The faux marble tabletop looks way more expensive than it actually was, and nobody can tell it’s not real unless they’re really inspecting it up close. My mom was like “you spent how much?!” thinking it cost way more.
The table itself is pretty sturdy for what it is – it’s got this MDF core with the marble-look sticker on top. I was a bit worried about durability at first, but it holds up to daily use no problem. I’ve had dinner parties with dishes all over, and even used it as my WFH desk on occasion. It can handle about 100 pounds which is more than enough for normal use.
The chairs are probably my favorite part – they’re made from this rubber wood that feels really solid (not like those cheap chairs that wobble after a month). Each one holds up to 250 pounds, which is reassuring. My friend Mike who’s a pretty big guy felt totally comfortable sitting in them. They have this subtle curve in the back that makes longer dinner conversations way more comfortable than my old dining set.
Size-wise, it’s perfect for my space. The round table is about 42 inches across, which is honestly just right – not too big that it dominates the room, but enough space that four people can eat comfortably without elbowing each other. I’ve actually had five people squeeze in for game night and it worked fine.
Fair warning, though – assembly took me closer to 90 minutes, not the 60 they claim. Not because it was complicated, but I’m not exactly handy with this stuff. All the hardware was there and the instructions were clear enough, but you know how these things go. Definitely easier with two people!
The whole thing weighs about 112 pounds total, with the table being around 37 pounds and each chair about 18. Not too bad to move around if you need to rearrange your space (which I do, like, every other month when I get bored with my layout).
The best part is how easy it is to clean. I’m not exactly the neatest eater (especially after a glass of wine), but spills just wipe right off the faux marble. No stains so far! And the chairs have held up to my cat’s occasional climbing adventures without any scratches.
To be fair, there were some tiny measurement differences from what was advertised – maybe a quarter-inch here and there – but nothing that actually matters in real life. And the color in person is a clean white marble look with nice warm wood tones, pretty close to the pictures but maybe a touch warmer.
If you’re looking for something that works for daily life but still looks nice enough when you have people over, this is honestly not a bad choice at all. It’s been one of my better furniture purchases lately, especially compared to the nightmare sofa I bought last year!
