5-Piece Counter Height Dining Set with Wooden Table and 4 Cushioned Chairs for Kitchen or Living Room

I’ve been eyeing this 5-piece counter height dining set for months and finally pulled the trigger last week—honestly, it was one of my better decisions lately!
Our old dining table was falling apart, and this wooden table with 4 cushioned chairs feels like such an upgrade. It’s got this modern vibe but isn’t too trendy that it’ll look dated next year, you know? The nailhead trim on the chairs is a pretty nice touch—adds a bit of class without being over the top.
Size-wise, it’s perfect for our apartment. The table is 52″ long by 27″ wide and stands at about 36.3″ high—counter height, which I actually prefer to standard height tables. Feels more casual somehow? The chairs are comfy enough (18″ x 19″ x 40.5″) and definitely roomier than they looked online. Assembly wasn’t bad at all—took me and my partner maybe 45 minutes, and we’re not exactly DIY experts!
We’ve already had a couple of dinner parties, and I gotta say, there’s something about sitting around this table that just makes conversation flow better. Maybe it’s the height? It’s kind of like being at a nice bar, but you’re eating spaghetti instead of drinking cocktails. It fits our family of three perfectly with room for a guest, which is all we really need.
The quality is surprisingly good for the price. The table feels really solid—it’s a mix of solid and engineered wood, but you honestly can’t tell the difference. The chairs each hold up to 250 pounds (my brother-in-law tested this theory without knowing it, lol) and the cushions are way more comfortable than I expected. We got the espresso finish, but there’s an oak option too that looked pretty nice in the photos.
What I really appreciate is how easy it is to clean. My kid spilled juice all over it the first day (of course), and it wiped right up with no staining. The fabric on the chairs seems to be pretty stain-resistant too, which is a must in our house.
To be fair, it’s not high-end furniture that’s going to last decades, but for what we paid, I’m not mad at all. It’s sturdy enough, looks more expensive than it is, and fits perfectly in our slightly awkward dining space. Plus, it comes with a 1-year warranty, which gave me a bit more confidence when ordering.
