32 Silicone Felt Chair Leg Protectors for Hardwood Floors, Scratch and Noise Prevention, Fits 1.3”-2” Legs

I honestly never thought I’d get so excited about chair leg protectors, but after trying these silicone felt ones, I’m kind of obsessed! The package comes with 32 pieces which was more than enough for all our dining chairs and even some barstools.
What I really love is that the felt pad doesn’t fall off like my previous cheap ones did. The felt and silicone are actually integrated together, so there’s no dealing with pads that separate after a week. They’re made from pretty good quality silicone too – not that flimsy stuff that cracks after a couple months.
Size-wise, they’re super versatile. They fit our dining chairs with round legs (about 1.5″ diameter) perfectly, but they also worked on my square office chair legs which are around 1.25″. The silicone stretches nicely and grips the legs so they don’t slide off when you move the furniture.
Installation was honestly the easiest thing ever. No tools, no glue, no hassle. You just slide them on and you’re done! I was worried they might slip off when we drag the chairs, but they’ve stayed put for weeks now.
To be fair, the main reason I got these was to stop the awful screeching noise our chairs made on our new hardwood floors. These protectors have been a total game-changer! Not only is it blissfully quiet now when the kids push their chairs back, but I’m not constantly stressing about scratches on our expensive flooring. The felt bottoms let the chairs glide pretty smoothly too, which is a nice bonus.
I’ve put these on basically all our furniture now – dining chairs, barstools, even those metal patio chairs we sometimes bring inside. They work on everything! Even the weirdly shaped legs of our vintage side table.
They’re super low maintenance as well. When my toddler spilled juice that dripped down onto one of the protectors, I just wiped it clean with a damp cloth, no problem at all.
I was a bit concerned they’d be really obvious and ugly, but they’re actually quite discreet. The transparent silicone means you barely notice them unless you’re specifically looking.
If you’re renting like we used to be, these would be a lifesaver for getting your security deposit back. Wish I’d found them sooner!
