I’ve honestly been looking for new patio furniture for ages, and I finally bit the bullet and ordered this set of 2 wicker rocking chairs. Let me tell you, they’re pretty darn good!
The moment I unpacked them (each chair comes in its own box, by the way), I was kind of impressed with how sturdy they felt. They’re made with this steel frame that feels solid, but they’re still light enough that I can move them around my deck without throwing my back out – about 18 pounds each, which isn’t bad at all.
So the whole egg shape design thing? It’s actually super comfy, not just marketing nonsense. I’m not a small person and the oversized seat (it’s like 37 by 43 inches) gives me plenty of room to curl up with my coffee in the morning. The cushions are thick and supportive – definitely better than my old patio chairs where I’d basically be sitting on a flat pancake after a few uses.
Assembly wasn’t terrible. I mean, I’m not exactly a DIY expert but I managed to put them together in about 30 minutes each without swearing too much, lol. All the tools and instructions were in the box, which was a nice surprise since I usually end up hunting for my screwdriver.

The rocking motion is honestly what sold me. It’s smooth and relaxing – not too aggressive like my grandma’s old rocking chair that practically throws you forward. They’ve got these reinforced bars connecting the legs so they feel stable when you’re rocking. After a stressful day at work, I’ve been sitting out there with a glass of wine just rocking and it’s become my little sanity ritual.
The grey wicker looks way more expensive than what I paid. It has this boho vibe that works with my existing stuff, and I like that I could use these inside during winter if I wanted to. The material seems like it’ll hold up to the elements – it’s this PE rattan that’s supposed to be weather-resistant. We had a surprise rain shower last week and I totally forgot to cover them, but they dried out fine with no issues.
The cushion covers are apparently waterproof and UV-resistant, which is great because my last set faded to this weird pinkish color after one summer. These have this faux fur texture that adds a touch of luxury – my cat has already claimed one as her new favorite spot, to be fair.

They’re pretty versatile too. Right now they’re on my patio, but I’m thinking about moving one to my reading nook inside when the weather gets cooler. Each chair can hold up to 250 pounds, which is decent. The dimensions (about 43″ deep, 37″ wide, and 31″ high) fit perfectly in the corner of my patio without overwhelming the space.
Maintenance seems straightforward enough – just wipe down the rattan with a damp cloth and mild soap. The cushion covers can be removed and machine washed, which is a huge plus because, well, birds happen when you’re outside.
If you’re on the fence, I’d say these are worth it. They’re comfier than my indoor couch in some ways, and versatile enough to use year-round. Not the cheapest option out there, but definitely not the most expensive either, and the quality feels like it’ll last for years rather than just a season or two.
