Ergonomic Drafting Chair with Adjustable Features, Black

I finally found a chair that doesn’t make my back scream after hours at my standing desk! This XISHE drafting chair has honestly been a game-changer for me. The mesh back is super breathable—I used to get that gross sweaty back feeling with my old office chair, but not anymore. The seat cushion is pretty thick (about 2.4 inches) and actually comfortable enough to sit on for my marathon design sessions.
What I really love is how adjustable everything is. You can move the seat anywhere from 22 to 30 inches high, which is perfect because my standing desk is kind of tall. The lumbar support is actually useful too—not like those flimsy ones that do basically nothing. I can feel it supporting my lower back, which means I’m not hunched over like a gremlin by the end of the day.
The wheels are smoother than I expected! They’re these soft polyurethane ones that glide around without making that annoying scraping noise on my hardwood floors. My old chair literally left marks, so this is a huge upgrade. The whole chair swivels easily too, which is handy when I’m bouncing between my main screen and my drawing tablet.
To be fair, I was a bit nervous about the 300-pound weight capacity (not that I’m anywhere near that), but this thing feels really solid. The base is wide—like 25 inches across—so it doesn’t wobble when I’m leaning over to reach something. The armrests are a nice touch and can flip up when I need more freedom to move. Super helpful when I’m sketching or need to get closer to my desk.
Assembly wasn’t bad at all! Took me maybe 20-25 minutes, and that’s with me stopping to check my phone a couple times. All the tools came in the box, and the instructions were clear enough that I didn’t have to look up a YouTube tutorial (which is saying something for me).
It’s not the cheapest drafting chair out there, but considering I’m sitting in this thing for like 8+ hours some days, it’s been worth every penny. My old office chair was killing my back, and this one is definitely comfier than sitting on my couch hunched over my laptop like I used to do. If you’re spending a lot of time at a standing desk or drafting table, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a look!
